"We made a great choice in choosing the Riverfront Retreat for our Thanksgiving celebration. The large dining table fit our group and its close proximity to the kitchen made serving and cleanup a breeze. One bedroom is set apart from the others which worked perfectly for one couple who ducked out at 5am to catch a flight out of Dulles (about an hours drive) without disturbing others in the group. We enjoyed hiking in Seven Bends State Park and even toured the Shenandoah Caverns (a short drive)....

"Very nice spot with interesting layout. The hot water heater requires an aluminum anode rod, as your mineral mix in the well is most likely high in manganese. The sulfuric stench is such that we didn’t want to use the hot water at all. I read other reviews along the same lines, so it has been brought to the owners attention, yet not remedied. Therefore, we wouldn’t stay again unless it was guaranteed that it has been fixed. "

"This cabin is amazing! Very authentic, mountain cabin and a more modern basement for variety. We loved it! Only issues were minor, such as low water pressure, especially when more than one of us was showering, no hot water in the downstairs shower, and ants on the kitchen counter, but no biggies, we still loved it and would do it again! Hopefully we’ll get back someday!"

"This is our second time staying at The Outlook this year. As before we were greeted by deer on the property. They didn't seem bothered by us at all. The cabin was sparkling clean and linens and towels were made up and ready. The view across the valley was wonderful with the trees changing into their fall colors. "This was perfect for us just down the way from the family cabin we were visiting. Berkeley Springs is a nice little down with a very rich history. We will probably rent this several times in the future given its location to our friends cabin just a few hundred yards down the road."

"We stayed two nights and it was great! I don’t think we could’ve stayed much longer because we are tall folks so the shower and toilet area was tricky but all part of the adventure in my opinion! We loved star gazing and enjoyed the hot tub. We hiked, found some yummy restaurants and cute shops. The camper was fully stocked so I didn’t need to bring half of what I did but you never know with a lot of rentals. Overall, lovely getaway! "
