It was great for isolation (we saw 1 car pass the house all weekend). It was just what we wanted. The house was great, the land was beautiful. I can’t express how quiet and relaxing this home is. Our 2 girls loved it too. They especially like the stream and trying to catch trout!And it’s pet friendly! Can’t wait to come back !"

"We had such a wonderful time in this all accommodating, cozy, beautiful cabin! We caught trout in Paddy Creek that we brought back to the cabin and cooked for dinner. We hiked the trail behind the cabin through the national park. We relaxed!! A much needed getaway from the hustle and bustle!"

"We made a great choice in choosing the Riverfront Retreat for our Thanksgiving celebration. The large dining table fit our group and its close proximity to the kitchen made serving and cleanup a breeze. One bedroom is set apart from the others which worked perfectly for one couple who ducked out at 5am to catch a flight out of Dulles (about an hours drive) without disturbing others in the group. We enjoyed hiking in Seven Bends State Park and even toured the Shenandoah Caverns (a short drive)....

"You can really tell the house is cared for. It feels like a home. It had everything you could need. They have a well stocked kitchen and even supply snacks. The beds were very comfortable. The yard is huge with a stream behind it with a Great fire pit. I do recommend this property and will definitely go back"

"The house is set on a beautiful hillside,and very picturesque. It has a nice wrap around deck with a spacious hot tub. It was nicely decorated and the perfect size for our get together...very clean."

The property had ample room and was well furnished, and was well equipped with games and entertainment. Check in/out also could not have been any easier, would definitely consider booking again for future trips!"

"This cabin was much larger than expected. It was clean and comfortable with two big bedrooms and two full (big!) bathrooms. Easy access to Winchester and cute cows!"

"We needed a good middle location between NC and NY for our girls weekend. This home had 3 bedrooms and 2 1/12 baths, worked perfect for the 3 of us. Very clean! Check in was a bit challenging, they send you the info on the lock box but don't mention it's on the back side of a front porch post, in the dark with cellphone for lighting...but VRBO connected us with host quickly who let us know where it was, then it was easy peasey. I think this is a very new rental, there was no decor which was...

"You might have thought you stayed at a place where the owner put a lot of thought into taking care of you, but you’ve never stayed here, I travel for work I book through vrbo three out of the four weeks of a month by far the best treatment and presentation by a host I’ve ever had my hats off to this host for the tremendous thought and effort he has put into you!!!
