"My husband and I wanted to do something different for Thanksgiving after losing both his parents at the beginning of the year. Our children had work obligations. This cabin was just what we needed. We wanted to relax, watch football with the fireplace going, and hang with our dog. Late November does not do the stunningly maintained yard justice and I am sure it is gorgeous in Spring and Summer. "This cabin was great! It was exactly as depicted in the pictures. The cabin was very clean and very well stocked with everything you could think of. It was nice to be able to sit on the balcony and listen to the little creek run by the cabin. I also sat in the screened in porch on the rocker and read a book. I really wish we could've enjoyed it a little longer. Our vacation was interrupted by the flooding and Hurricane Helene, so we did not get to enjoy the hot tub or the trail behind the cabin....

Wonderful getaway that allows you to forget the world while remaining close enough to things that you can experience the surrounding areas. The owner and even the neighbors did their best to make sure we were safe and comfortable. We did not end up getting to enjoy the amenities on location due to a power outage but will be back once they are in a better place as a community to support these lovely people. "
