"This is just a basic spartan motel if you need cheap accommodations in the area. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms were small and spartan, but clean. They did provide a refrigerator and microwave. No shampoo was provided, only soap, and linens were at a minimum. Coffee was available in mornings but no breakfast. "This place is absolutely horrible! We stayed here for one night and the next morning I had bed bug bites all over me. We found bed bugs and brought them to the front desk. I asked if they had a bed bug problem and he looked at me and said why. I handed him over the napkin with the bed bugs in it and he told me a manager would call. I never received a call back. Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix Cityscape, an IHG Hotel

"The hotel has a stylish lobby with a really cool marble fireplace on the second floor, a nice spot to hang out, and that exits onto a pedestrian walking area. Conveniently, a Frye’s grocery is across the street. There are numerous restaurants just steps away. Chico Malo was wonderful upscale Mexican food, beautiful and delicious. The fourth floor has a lovely pool and a cool rooftop bar. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. It worked out well for attending a convention, only 3 blocks to get there. There is morning coffee on the 2nd floor and throughout the day there was ice water infused with strawberries. My only negative I can think of is that our room’s furnishings, while stylish, were getting worn, the upholstery was peeling off the chairs, but maybe that was just this room. I would stay again. "

"Got a good nights rest. Comfy bed. Spacious room. My only complaint is the shower door is not a full door. Nor is it a sliding door. Its not even a door. I dont know what to call it. But i dont like it. Water spews out all out on the floor, and the shower its not a full enclosed hot shower taken. It will be a bit cold due to it not being enclosed. Thats my only complaint. Tell the young lady up front to smile and be more friendly to incoming customers "
