"This was better and cheaper than a boring Premier Inn. I would recommend it for anyone that wants a change from the Purple Palace. Free parking near to the entrance. "We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were amazing very friendly and always helpful. The only negative was the bathroom was cold as the heated towel rail was not working and that was the only heat source in the room. It was January but did not spoil the trip."

"Room was quite cold but old windows can be draughty. Food was ok in restaurant but nothing special. Bath taps had lots of black stuff in one and the wall was peeking in the bathroom. There was also a long black hair in my bed. I didn’t complain as all minor things, could be a better stay with more attention to detail. "

"As soon as we stepped in to the property I was happy. The check in went very smoothly. Every member of staff we came across was friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but had everything we needed. I loved that we had bottled water, a choice of sparking or still. Also nice hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee.The beds were very comfy with nice pillows and they had very nice fluffy towels in the bathroom.I would definitely stay again"

"A very comfortable stay and convenient for our purpose. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant which were both very good. The only issue we had was the coffee machine broke at breakfast but the member of staff on duty went out of his way to ensure we didn’t go without. "

A little taste of tranquility in the heart of manc

"The customer service was excellent. The hotel itself is lovely. The room was really beautiful and comfortable the only small issue we had was temperature control (the thermostat was a bit fiddly) and the water coming through the pipes from other rooms could be noisy at times but aside from that which wasn’t a major thing was fantastic. Breakfast was really good. The lifts however were not the best. One was out of order and the other was small so there were queues building up and they took a long time to arrive. Overall I would recommend this hotel as the suites are very luxurious. Comfy bed A+ "
