we got to the hotel and they said they needed ID off of both me and my partner it had been booked in my name so i don’t see why they need my partners ID aswell. as we were checking in there were other guests complaining about the ID checks. we had to pay £1.20 city visit fee. after a lot of bother checking it we went up to our room on the first floor the room was freezing and the heating wouldn’t work. there was no main light either. the window wouldn’t shut properly so there was a draft coming through all night. I went to have a shower and it came on for about 30 seconds and then wouldn’t come back on only the bath tap and the water wouldn’t warm up either. we went back out for a few hours and as we came back the security wouldn’t let us in even though we had our room keys they said we havnt checked in even though we had so we had to wait around again for ages while they checked. hotel is lovely but the staff are so rude and the rooms need some maintenance
