"The room and inside of the hotel were fab. It was very comfortable and clean. Don’t be put off by a dated exterior. The inside is lovely, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was good quality - no complaints. The park and ride is right next door for an easy trip into Chester. We had a happy stay. "

"Warm welcome and offers of help with the luggage Smooth quick and friendly check in and shown to our room. Nice touch! Room was spacious clean and had everything we needed. Bed was a little on the soft side for my liking (but that is just my preference). Staff are helpful and lots of patience, nothing was too much trouble You get what you pay for imo My only issue is that we couldn’t get into the dining room on either night we stayed as it was full. Disappointing given that we paid so much for the room and they couldn’t accommodate. "

"Lovely hotel within walking disrance ro the Riyal Albert Docks and City Centre. Parking is conveniently nearby and reduced for hotel guests. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very varied and great choice of food. Room spacious and choice of different pillows. Great view over the city and the Mersey. Minor thing is that for a 4 star hotel the coffee in the room is unfortunately instant Nescafe. So many better oprions available, maybe something to look into. Other than that no issue reported, will gladly book again! "
