"The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The beautiful grounds were perfect for pleasant walks. The bus to shopping area and rail station was right across the road. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and rhe food was excellent. There was a lovely lounge for resting and enjoying a quiet drink. We stayed three weeks and enjoyed our stay immensely. "Interesting place. Advertised as a guest house on some sites and Bed and Breakfast on others. Unfortunately when we arrived were told breakfast was not included - that seemed strange I booked the room on the pretence it served breakfast - being a "Guest House". I paid top price for this site when compared with other B & B's. Although they did end up supplying cereal for breakfast. But that is not good enough for the price. Also daily service was minimalist.
