"Convenient to the shops etc and they added a new bar and restaurant to it."

"This was our first time staying in a Mercure. The location was ideal for us, close to the centre but not too busy and more reasonable price. The lounge and bar downstairs was lovely. Nice Christmas decorations too. Check in was easy and efficient. Room was great, very clean, everything we needed. The layout, tv and bathroom felt more modern and slightly more high end compared to a Premier Inn. We will definitely stay at a Mercure again!"

"Love. staying at the Clayton! Close to town and reasonable train station parking. Breakfast is fabulous, staff are friendly and helpful. Beds are super comfy, lovely rooms with great facilities! "

"Our stay was fantastic. Our room was great, very clean and we had water, biscuits and tea and coffee. The whole hotel was very clean, the staff very friendly and the food and drinks were very good. We definitely would recommend this hotel to friends and family. We have stayed here before and will be staying here again this Friday, 27th December on our way back home from staying with our daughter."
