"My stay was great from the moment I got checked in by Persia who was lovely and even offered to see if the kitchen would prepare me something even though they had just closed. After my long journey from London it was a very good welcome. My room had a beautiful window with a view of the Lake and the mountains. The rest of the staff from the bar to the restaurant was really accommodating and kind. It’s within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, cinema and the lake of course. "

"Great location and public areas comfortable and inviting, however the lake view room was smaller than expected and too warm. (The radiator couldn’t be turned down however there was air conditioning in the room but it seems environmentally unfriendly to have the heating and cooling working against each other). I do object to having to pay an additional £30 to park the car in the hotel car park for our 2 night stay. As I have previously stated the hotel is in a great location but I wouldn’t stay...

"Was really disappointing the shower area was so tiny you couldn’t turn around if you did the shower curtain kept sticking to you and so much damp in this tiny area. You had to keep your arms in. The TV kept freezing and you could turn the Tv over with the remote control. The The breakfast was nice."

"As a couple we hav stayed at The Burn How quiet a few times.its so convienient 5min walk and your in BOWNESS. So clean property is the owners staff excellent. Breakfast excellent. 5star all the way...well recommend .excellent. "
