"What a wonderful home. The host greeted us, showed us around & left us a homemade blueberry cake & bottle of wine. Communication with her was very easy. The whole home is spacious & comfortable - my husband said the kitchen was the best part of the trip...not the best part of the house, but of the whole vacation! It is a chef's kitchen, stocked with everything (really, everything!) you need. And the dock & sea kayaks were great. The location is terrific - on the harbor with a short walk into...

"It's a very nice resort. We stayed in a cottage with water view. It was nice but not upgraded at all. Only major problem was we could hear our wall sharing neighbors. Every time they used their microwave we could hear it beep and the door open and close. We did enjoy our stay!"

This was our first visit to Maine, and specifically Boothbay Harbor, and it definitely made a fantastic first impression on us about how great Mainers are. Will definitely plan more trips to Maine.
