"Like most people coming from a noisy and congested area, it was so pleasant to have QUIET!! The data in Jan we stayed we're cold and sometimes windy. If you're prepared for 0* degree wind chills, you'll be fine. The one thing I recommend is arriving in daylight to see the turn off of 321 onto OLD 321. After that, the drive to the residence is pretty much ...easy. There are switchbacks to get to the cabin but it's expected due to the steepness. The woods were clear because the leaves had fallen...

"Overall was a great stay. Had an issue with the first floor toilet and it wasn’t operational until the last full day of our stay which was the reason for four stars instead of 5. Highly recommend this if you love a natural water feature (we loved cold plunging in the creek for our NYE stay) and an amazing location close to tons the area had to offer (breweries, skiing, hiking,restaurants). But still quiet and removed from the bustle of busy streets at night. Would definitely stay again!"

"This cabin is quaint and charming. It’s out in the middle of a field and it’s quiet and private. The beds were comfortable. The heat gets HOT if you turn it up too high! There are fans for when it’s warm. It was a great stay! We will definitely stay again!"

"This quaint, small cabin was exactly what my husband & I hoped for on our year-end vacation. It was quiet & perfect for thr two of us! The bed is FIRM so be prepared for that. Its great for those with back issues. Situated just 25min frim downtown Boone & 45min from Bammer Elk, we found it situated just far enough from where we wanted to venture out to dine. The rest of the time, we RESTED! Thank you for such a relaxing stay,we appreciate it!."
