"The property is beautiful. I wish there had been more transparency about the road to get there. It’s dirt for the most part and not well kept at all. Was not expecting that at all. The house itself is lovely. Great stocked kitchen, bed was comfy. Water pressure was awful but that can be tolerated. I would stay again!"

"I got there ahead of everyone else and it was beautiful. The stream behind the house was so super cute. Everyone we ran into was very friendly. I would definitely do it again."

"It was beautiful! Breathtaking view. Loved the hot tub! Internet was good and everything worked great. The microwave and toaster oven were upgraded since the pics so that was nice! The bed was a little small and not super comfy and we ran out of paper towels and hand soap (I brought some though so it wasn’t a big deal)But overall a wonderful stay! Really quaint and cute. Loved it!"

"Great location for exploring Stone Mountain State Park, Elkins and environs. I have utilized this particular unit about 6 times ans always want to come back for more. Great hosts, location and atmosphere. "

"This property was perfect for us for a getaway weekend. The outdoor space is absolutely stunning. We would spend the entire time there if we can help it. We will be back again for sure. Make sure to gas up before you get there as there are no close by gas stations, but that's a small price to pay for the location, view and serenity of the property. "

"We greatly enjoyed our weekend at the cabin. The kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed to cook delicious meals and the small cabin was very cozy and comfortable. Our dogs had a blast playing on the property and we relaxed by the river every day we stayed. Thank you for the wonderful experience!"

"Great spot in the woods! We enjoyed our time in this home. We went up with teenagers for a college tour and we had plenty of room to stretch out. We also enjoyed the hot tub after walking around Boone for the day. We cooked dinner every night and had everything we needed. Would love to come back in the summer when we can sit out on the deck for morning coffee. 10 out of 10 recommend."

"Beautiful cabin tucked away in the woods. We (especially our children) enjoyed exploring the trails and creek on the property. The owners had a big collection of games, board games, toys & trinkets for all ages, as well as a huge collection of books & DVDs you can tell the owners have put a lot of thought and care into their vacation rental! Our favorite part was the downstairs game room! We enjoyed our stay so much and plan to return in the future! "

"Stayed during weekend trip. House was very nice. A bit further from Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk than we expected, but still only about 15 minutes from Boone. Nowhere closer to grab groceries that we saw. House could use a good "spring cleaning" and some maintenance but overall very nice. For coffee drinkers - the pictures show a standard drip coffee maker but it did have a Keurig combo drip & pod coffee maker when we stayed - bring coffee filters. Furniture was comfortable, beds were...

"Love the seclusion and quietness of the property, beautiful views. I had a few problems with some dirty pots that were left. We had to clean before using. The place was also freezing cold and we were not able to adjust the temperature limited cell service up here so we’re not able to contact the property owners other than those few glitches it was a beautiful stay"

"Loved the cabin, cozy comfortable, could use some updates but nothing major. Please have at least first morning coffee too far to drive for coffee after long drive. "
