"We chose to stay here because we stayed here the last time we visited Reykjavik and really liked the hotel. It is well positioned for the centre and the harbour area. It is clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast is excellent. Bus stop 5 is just across the road so it is also very convenient for trips out of Reykjavik. "

"Hotel was fairly close to town, easy to get around. We rented a car and there is ample parking. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel was very clean. My only complaint would be that there was no place to store your clothes in the room, no dresser or counter so we have to live out of our suitcases which was a bit of a pain. Overall we were very happy."

"Lovely stay (eventually) had a hiccup on the first night when someone had taken our room before we arrived! (Not good when arriving late at 9pm and just wanting to get settled)! The staff when we rang were incredibly apologetic about the mix up (not their fault) and made every effort to rectify as quickly as possible. Can’t fault the customer service. Purposely booked to be out of the way and in our 3 night stay we saw the Northern Lights each night. Perfect location (providing you have a car),...

"The desk staff were fantastic, consistently friendly and helpful. The mattress was a little too firm for my tastes - I like them fairly firm, but not that much. There was a good number of pillows, of different thickness and firmness. There was hair clogged in the shower drain when I arrived, leading the tray to drain slowly and fill with water. There is a small kettle in the room, but the sink is very shallow and the kettle won't fit in it - the only way to get water into the kettle was to fill...

"Excellent location, right across from Hallsgrimskirkja, and close to restaurants, shopping and culture. The room was clean and warm. The staff were helpful with checking in, and answering questions we had about local dining options."
