"We visited Orcas Island for a family event and stayed at Lori's home. It was peaceful, comfortable, well supplied and met us with a glorious view to the west! We enjoyed fires in the fireplace and evening dips in the hot tub under the stars. Beds and linens were great quality and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with just the right amount of good quality cookware, etc. We would stay again. Thanks Lori!"

"The place is beautiful, right next to a forest so, not many human neighbors around, it’s a great getaway to relax, recharge and enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere that comes from the mountains. My parents, my kid and I enjoyed opening our Christmas presents here! The only thing that scared us was that the main two doors are half see-through glass, and you don’t know who may be outside watching you; there was a guy asking us to turn off the outside lights at 8:30 am one day! but everything...

"Lovely short stay at Birch Bay. Property was surprisingly spacious and the kitchen was well equipped for a small family reunion. Location was windswept (it was early March, so unsurprising!). Beds were very comfy. House warmed up quickly when the furnace was put on, although we had to turn it off overnight as we found it a little noisy, but that was our personal preference. Overall, would definitely stay again. Great property."

"This was a great location for a group to stay in! There were 6 of us in total, and there was plenty of room (and bathrooms, which was AWESOME). The space was exactly as pictured, and was super clean. The hot tub was awesome too! It's close to Bellingham while far enough away to feel like it was in its own world. Would definitely recommend!"
