"It was a nice home. The area was great. My only concern was that I could not reach anyone when I had a question. The home has a for sale sign in front and that caused me concern. I called VRBO to reassure me all was well and after that we had a great stay. If the home remains, I would use it again!"

"This home was exactly as listed- no surprises. It was clean and comfortable. The parking is a bit tricky on a busy street but otherwise id definitely visit here again. Close to UCLA for parents to visit. "

"I came to Los Angeles with 5 friends to see a concert and we really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen and the pool kitchen was awesome! Ac worked great in the house and the beds were comfortable. Pool was great! Would definitely recommend!"

"The property was exactly as advertised (don't look on Google, the satellite image is old). It was perfect for our group with a bunch of space to spread out. The property is relatively new, so everything was nice and clean. It is close to food and entertainment and even has a garage to park your rental car. If you are looking for a place to getaway with a small group of friends in LA, this property is spot on!"

We arrived quite late, to no parking, upstairs tenant had taken all the space, this was remedied the next day, and we never had further issues. As with other reviews, there is a slight odd smell, but it didn't bother us that much, we never saw a single cockroach as previously reported. "The location of this property is amazing. I am from Nebraska and two families stayed here. The pool was great for the kids and adults even though it was late fall. The pool heater worked great but the charge to heat is expensive and once you inquire cannot be undone once you have the invoice. Check in and out was very easy. "We came to see David Gilmore in concert at the Hollywood bowl. Incredible concert. Location to get to sights and concert were great. "

"We arrived at check-in, and the home was dirty. No cleaners had been. We tried to reach the host, but he was unreachable for 6 hours. We found garbage, mouldy coffee, dirty bed sheets with hairs and marks, and filthy furniture. There were real estate brochures all along the kitchen and dining area. The patio and pool looked like it had been trashed compared to the advertised photos. I had asked the host upon booking if these photos represented the listing, and I was told they did. They DO NOT....

"Our stay was wonderful. Shida was a welcoming host and the property was beautiful. "Top of the world" is the perfect description for this hideaway at the top of Laurel Canyon. It's the perfect place to unwind and relax. "

"Boutique hotel with a nice charm. Location is unbeatable, walking distance to rodeo drive and plenty of coffee shops. Staff is friendly and very helpful! The only issue was the shower setup of room, shower curtains not long enough causing them to get sucked in and stick to you as you shower, also water easily drips outside shower needing you to use towels to soak it up."

"We continue to be pleasantly surprised with each encounter at this lovely hotel. The food is impecable and the staff is over the top incredible. You can honestly sense that they love what they do. You can feel the passion when they dote on you. I would highly recommend eating all of your meals on the property when you stay there. I have traveled all over the world, and this is top notch! "

"My husband and I had a fantastic stay, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Due to a mistake with the room listing on Expedia we were given a free upgrade to the King Suite, which was a lovely touch. The check in and check out procedure was quick and easy, and we received our deposit back almost instantly, had no issues with the room access codes. The property has an "old Hollywood" kind of vibe which we loved, we didn't find the noise from Santa Monica Boulevard to be a problem at all, neither was the noise from neighbouring rooms - overall we found it to be surprisingly peaceful for such a central location. The rooftop terrace was cute, we saw a hummingbird up there on our last day, amazing! The location is perfect for exploring Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, great bars, restaurants and coffee shops are a 10 minute walk away, as well as upmarket boutiques, and the area feels safe. For the room rate you're really going to struggle to find a better price in a comparable location. We wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here again in the not too distant future, thank you to all for an unforgettable stay."
