"The place had plenty of space. The heaters worked. It is sparse. Bring toilet paper, papers towels, soap, shampoo, hand towels, kitchen towels. Host did provide coffee. The beds were pretty comfortable. It's quiet. "

"It's a large home with bedrooms, games, stairwells, and even a suite in a stand-alone building all over the place. The driveway is tight and rough. But it does lead to a small trail and a private beach. My big complaint would be the upstairs shower. Ick. The town is small and interesting. It is a great place to be to see the most of the multiple redwood parks."

"Love the area. Enjoyed our stay. We survived the earthquake, and tsunami warning was exciting. Only issue was wood stove hard to get heated with wet wood provided. Could use another space heater. "

"Trinidad is a hidden gem with beautiful views and beaches. The house was exactly as pictured in a nice neighborhood with views and close to local shops, grocery store and restaurants. It was very comfortable for our family of 6 but lacked some basics I've come to expect like at least a minimal amount of alum foil, plastic wrap, sugar etc. Not even a salt shaker! I also would have appreciated a bottle of cleaning fluid. The only thing provided was 2 rolls of paper towel, trash bags and a 2 oz....

"Overall really nice. But something needs to be done with the garbage cans. On arrival the garbage cans were visited by raccoons and they spread garbage all over the back yard and front yard. Of course we cleaned it up. Tightly closed the lids and again the same trash spread all over. I closed lids with bungee cords that worked one day. Then the last night it was bad. A dog got back there and helped spread the refuse. One more cleanup before we left. New strategy needed. "

"The house was as it appeared in the photos and the beds and couch were very comfortable. We had guests for dinner one evening but there weren’t enough chairs for our guests. Other than that the home was lovely and perfect for our getaway. "
