"Nice little boutique hotel that has seen better days. Great mattress, each room has TV w/ Netflix & couch which I loved. White towels very stained, shower dingy white etc. Terrible food. Still, nice to be right in the center of town with a pool. Check if there is a party as these can get loud ( wld be great if property provided earbuds and told guests of events BEFORE arrival in country). "

"Wonderful comfy beds . Nice breakfasts. Helpful staff. Clean. Piri piri restaurant on site was a disaster. Husband ordered a pizza finally got it .mine didnt turn up. Waiter said sorry coming in few minutes , half an hour later turned up with a plate of seafood rice. We were only one of 4 people. Just a bad night , he said he was sorry and no charge. Think someone was spaced out!"

"The room is actually very pleasant with attention for your comfort. Fluffy towels and a table to work on. Night lights and a good shower with good pressure hot water. Nicely decorated also. But - a very serious negative thing is the fact that you don't have a window outside, only facing the corridor and the atrium. For privacy i had the windows closed which gave a somewhat claustofobic feeling. Also it was very noisy - people arriving at night not realizing how their voices carry on. The...

"I stayed here for one night before catching a flight to another island. At €100 per night – the most expensive rate I’ve paid on Cape Verde – it was a huge disappointment. As a Gold Member on Expedia, I was promised a bottle of sparkling wine, which was missing. Instead, my room came with a cockroach (photo attached). Maybe it drank the wine for me. The air conditioning didn’t work, the shower drain was clogged, and mosquitoes thrived in the stagnant water. Housekeeping seemed questionable too...
