"This place was terrible. The lady who checked us in insisted on taking a picture of every single adult’s license. We found this odd. No one has ever made us do this. There were multiple rules. Over 30! We had to sign agreeing. Our shower was missing a shower head. The room smelt terrible. The facility is run down. They do not even have a credit card machine. Do not stay here."

It was clean, and the staff was pleasant and helpful/ The web site never mentioned the availability of a microwave for customer use, but there is one in the office. We were able to walk to main street quickly. There was no table in the room, and only one chair in a 4 person room. This would have been better for us."

Our room was huge, and tastefully decorated. The hotel was very quiet. The breakfast was very good with many options. There was plenty of parking. The hotel was in a very safe area. I would definitely stay here again. I would also highly recommend Bar Harbor Grand Hotel to everyone."
