"We had a great 2 night stay at this hotel. It's located on a beautiful beach which overlooks Koh Phangan and Ang Thong Marine park. We could even see our home island of Koh Tao as it was clear skies. Our room (plunge pool room) was very spacious and comfortable, although definitely needed redecorating and is a bit older than another Tolani we have stayed at. "This is an older style resort with lots of different spaces for children and adults including a small gym, games area etc. Unfortunately the spa treatment area was surrounded by stagnant water while I was there - otherwise it would have been a lovely setting. The little vegetable garden is cute. The pool is lovely as is the beach. The staff in the restaurant / bar are wonderful. "

"Ban tai was beautiful! The villa was very up-to-date and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The only negative is that they do not accept credit cards for check-in, despite it being listed on hotels.com as an option. Management claimed it’s because they have issues with physically using credit cards which seems incredibly odd for a luxe villa. The management wanted to hold 10,000 baht in cash during the stay, which is absurdly high compared to other stays in the area. "
