"IT WAS CLOSED!!!!! We could not contact anybody so we had to find an other accommodation for the night. The neighbours said it was closed for a while. "

"We never got a true confirmation or check in information for this property. When we called VRBO (very difficult from abroad) they said this was a false listing (my daughter had to do this in the states as it was too difficult form afar). We eventually was reimbursed but we had to scramble to find a new place late a night on our own."

"We LOVED every moment of our stay! It was like a living dream! From the beauty of the villa, property and lagoon! To the amazing chef and his team! "Have visited Bacalar many times. We have loved QM and i think the water is perfect to step into the lagoon from there as it is not deep. Excellent view and a well maintained garden by the property manager, Juan. Really attractive little property! it is a bit far from the centre, away from the busy parts but you have to walk through hills up and down to get there so if older don’t recommend to walk. "What a beacutiful home. From the very first momeny we opened the door - just wow. The house is large, very clean, had everything we needed and very well located (about a 12-15 minute walk to the water and to the main square). We felt super safe during our stay."

"Nice location right on the lagoon. The pods are good - there’s lights, electric sockets and a fan. The openings to our pod were ripped and the zip handles damaged and a little difficult to open and close. The light breakfast was good. "

"The pool is very far from the room. Sliding doors don’t close properly allowing mosquitos to come in. I don’t blame the staff. They are very friendly and tried to help however this property doesn’t look like anything advertised. The bed is made of cement and the mattress is hard. We can’t sit on the porch due to bats droppings and smells of bats. "
