"Began witting this while in this locale... Another restless night. This rental is located 20 meters from Hwy 307, a main route north and south on the Mexican Carribean. The road noise is/was awful. We also listened to a water pump loudly whine all night the first night. I sent the host a notice that the pumps bearing was likely going out. "We have no idea what this was like since we never got to stay there. The host contact number was not in service. We never received any check in instructions and we went to the property and no one was there. We paid and reserved this weeks before. We were in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country in a taxi with a 4 month old baby in the heat without being able to get into the place we paid for. "The pool is very far from the room. Sliding doors don’t close properly allowing mosquitos to come in. I don’t blame the staff. They are very friendly and tried to help however this property doesn’t look like anything advertised. The bed is made of cement and the mattress is hard. We can’t sit on the porch due to bats droppings and smells of bats. "
