"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Ehua. The staff were so accommodating to our every need! The hotel is located super close to the main street and a beautiful restaurant/bar called Margarita concept. There are lots of sounds/smells beyond the walls of the hotel (farm animals, dogs etc) but this is Mexico! It is part of being immersed into the culture. You cannot expect to have a fully silent stay if you are staying so close to the town center. Our room was large, bright and beautiful with stunning views of the mountains. "

"Posada del Tepozteco was truly a beautiful property. The grounds were well taken care of and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Oscar and Marco took great care of us at breakfast. Housekeeping and room service was also very attentive and wonderful. I felt relaxed and safe while still being close to the zocalo. I loved the views and had an amazing experience with Dahlia during my temazcal. I hope to visit and stay here again. "

"My partner and I had a 10/10 stay at Artensanos 11. Antonio and his dog Pach were excellent hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed and even brought us to the market, recommended some local food for us, and showed us the church. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is walking distance to everything in the town, only a 10-15 minute walk from the entrance to the main hike to the temple. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and peaceful, not noisy at all. The rooftop terrace is the perfect place to hangout, watch the sunset and have some drinks - a great retreat from the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. I had read other reviews that said this hotel was too basic because there was no tv in the room, but if you are watching tv on vacation in tepoztlan, you’re doing it wrong! We had everything we needed during our stay at Artesanos 11! Would love to come back :) thank you so much Antonio!! P.S. Eat the Cecina de res tacos at Tacos Luna in the main square (little blue taco stand right by the taxis) - they will blow your mind. "

"Let me start by saying that property is far and hidden from downtown. Once checked in, we discovered there was no hot water. They stated pump was broken and they could not guarantee it being fixed anytime soon, this mid January. In addition, both night stand lamps did not work, phone in room did not work, had to walk across the resort to contact staff, who’s solution was to shower in the spa area which was not close to us. When we inspected the jacuzzi, it was broken and they stated our reservation did not include one, even though we had access to it. Upon immediately checking out to find a place with hot water, they stated to contact Expedia for resolution, upon contacting Expedia they referred me to the hotel and no one accepted responsibility. $176 for one night folks. "
