My partner and I had a 10/10 stay at Artensanos 11. Antonio and his dog Pach were excellent hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed and even brought us to the market, recommended some local food for us, and showed us the church. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is walking distance to everything in the town, only a 10-15 minute walk from the entrance to the main hike to the temple. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and peaceful, not noisy at all. The rooftop terrace is the perfect place to hangout, watch the sunset and have some drinks - a great retreat from the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. I had read other reviews that said this hotel was too basic because there was no tv in the room, but if you are watching tv on vacation in tepoztlan, you’re doing it wrong! We had everything we needed during our stay at Artesanos 11! Would love to come back :) thank you so much Antonio!!
P.S. Eat the Cecina de res tacos at Tacos Luna in the main square (little blue taco stand right by the taxis) - they will blow your mind.
