Kusasenri (Kusasenri Plateau, 草千里ケ浜) is one of the most iconic sceneries in Kumamoto Prefecture. It is a vast grassland plateau with grazing cows and horses, as well as a commanding view of Mt. "Everything is perfect! Staff is so awesome & Ryokan is well maintained. Only concerns are internet connection is bad & the constant phone call buzzing. Our check out is 10am but by 9:40am they’d started buzzing us."

"Quiet location just a short walk from the train station. Superb ryokan experience with modern amenities throughout. If you’re fortunate enough to get a room with a private onsen, you can enjoy all manner of luxury beyond the available public onsen facilities. A great option to spoil yourself, if even for a night or two. "

"Everything about Nihon No Ashitaba was so incredibly beautiful, serene, and thoughtful. They offer a free shuttle everyday to Yufuin station where you can walk, shop, eat, and enjoy Yufuin. We were greeted promptly after riding the Yufuin No Mori from Hakata Station.They have multiple private onsens and a large open air hot spring you can reserve a time everyday if you wanted. "It was a great opportunity to experience Japanese vibes and cuisine. The only issue I had was the cleanliness. The humidifier had terrible mold and the public bath wasn’t clean. It wasn’t even as clean as cheaper business hotels. "

"Everything was top notch. The rooms were large, clean, well equipped. The most amazing thing was definitely the food, was by far the best I’ve had in Yufuin after traveling here for more than 10 years. "Everything about staying here was great! I only speak English and Korean and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating! Especially the manager at the front desk. I got to meet and have simple conversations with the staff. Even the ones that only speak Japanese. They were all friendly and kind regardless of language barriers. "A wonderful experience to stay in this boutique ryokan. Imaishi San helped us on checking in, and introduced the all facilities. He also served us the Yufu Kabosu drink during the night cafe hours. The breakfast was really delicious and delightful."

"The drive in the village to get to the Osen was super narrow, so make sure to drive carefully. Besides that, the staff was lovely, easy to talk to, and super friendly. Breakfast and dinner weren't bad. I was able to relax for a few days. Thankyou. "
