"A bit pricey but a better option than the chain hotels around the area. We were not impressed with the hotel dinner. Very limited and expensive menu. Carpet and room furniture needs cleaned. Temperature controls in room were not working. "

"We took our daughter to Pittsburgh to a play at the Byham Theater for her 16th birthday. We stayed at the Renaissance because it was right next door. We enjoyed the old charm of the hotel and the convenience of its location. "

"We had a great stay. Large, quiet rooms. The weather was great so we walked everywhere. Might not be an option if you have young children. They put out a great spread of food and drinks for breakfast and Happy Hour daily. You do have to pay park which I believe is standard downtown but we did a couple airport runs over our 3 day stay and the valet service was very quick and reliable. "

"This is a wonderful place to stay, close to downtown. It has a private courtyard to have coffee in the morning or a drink later at night. Highly recommended. "
