"We loved it here, easy to relax the days away. Staff is attentive and food is good. Vibe is amazing. We did most of excursions while staying in Caye Caulker so I can’t speak to those services here, seemed they offered a good list of adventures each day. We did rent a golf cart at the resort and that was super easy to do. "

"We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. "Loved the resort. Good pool areas Rooms were clean and well maintained. Security (shout out to Marco) was fantastic. He was so helpful and always met us in the parking lot to make sure we got in okay. If you are an animal lover, there are cats and dogs to keep you company. Friendly, but well behaved. Must have golf cart to get around, but the drive is exciting and you notice something new every time! Locals appreciate a drive to or from work if you have room. Very safe. "

"Rosie the Office Manager was very helpful with changing our time for the water taxi. Ashanti the bartender made the best dirty banana I have ever enjoyed. Paulina our housekeeper did an excellent job in maintaining the order and cleanness of our room. Mike the maintenance man educated us on the culture of the people of Ambergris Caye and recommended the best restaurants on the island. "

"This property was fantastic! This unit was perfect for us and loved being able to walk right out onto the pool. Pool has a swim up bar that was staffed by Someplace South Cafe Bar which is right up the road and a great place to eat. Fully stocked kitchen was nice to be able to cook some meals ourselves. The on-site property management is top notch and willing to assist with whatever your needs may be. We would definitely stay here again in the future. The only downside to this place(for us)...

"This is a funky beach hotel. Don't expect the Ritz and you won't be disappointed. The location was awesome and the ambience was great. We loved that they had free coffee down in the restaurant/bar. The open air restaurant/bar was really nice. We could probably have eaten there every day and been perfectly happy, but we tried to eat around town. FYI Blue Water Grill, Ramones, and Caramba were all really good."
