"We love being outside of town. The property was really lovely and the staff was great. Very safe and quiet. They have their own bar and restaurant right on the water and there are 3 within 2 miles. Just so you know, San Pedro is a small village. There is only one Dirt road north. We love that we were out of town, however, if you want to keep busy The resort is 7 miles up the road and you will need to rent a golf cart at the resort each time you want to go to town. The resort can schedule a few of the excursions straight from our dock. The excursions were great! They also rent bikes for only five dollars. Just be aware that there are many rutsand puddles. We rented bikes to go north up to tranquility beach, Margarita resort and restaurant. That’s 7 miles one way. It is not advisable to use a golf cart or bike at night. The one way taxi to town is $40-50. "

"We had the most amazing stay at Matachica! Shout out to Job, Jennifer, Bolo Man, Sayuri and all the phenomenal staff! The food selection could be a bit broader. We will definitely be coming back! "

"What made this resort so special was the staff. They were all so accommodating. Joshua was the master of all going on at Lena Point!! He went above and beyond as a bartender, waiter, concierge! He was always smiling and took pride in the resort. I will be back again! The food was absolutely spectacular! I have never tasted such flavor! "

"Helpful staff, and a beautiful resort providing considerable shade to help keep you cool on those hot island days. Pool is great and pretty large. Ate lunch there once and it was all right. Appreciated the work to clear the seaweed from the beach, and we enjoyed the lounge chairs and hammocks they had out there. I can't speak to the boating/snorkeling opportunities, but there were many options and those who took them seemed thrilled."

"Our stay at the Sunbreeze hotel was great. Our rooms were clean, we enjoyed the pool and the convenience of having the Bluewater Grill on the property. Right across the street from the Tropic Air terminal which was convenient. "
