"Loved the design of the units, the location and the service. It is a new property, a bit isolated, which we liked, and right on the beach. All units, 6 in total, face the sea... You're awaken by the sunshine and go to bed watching the moon through a large window. Will definitely go back. It's worth the hike from San Pedro! "

"Exactly what we wanted & needed for a perfect two week vacation and family holiday. Tranquil location 10 miles North of San Pedro. Treated like family by the amazing proprietor, Iz, and his staff. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms, with a nice living room/dining room area for gathering to eat and play games. Spent many days on the boat fishing, snorkeling, hunting lobsters, spearing fish and enjoying the beautiful reef. David and Oscar captained and guided our boat tours - laid back but professional, super knowledgable, and will never let you go hungry. Cecilia and Yuri cooked our catches and turned out magnificent meals. Quiet, sandy road North made for great trail runs, enjoyed long walks along the beach hunting for shells - each followed with a dip in the refreshing pool. Evenings capped off with camaraderie at the onsite El Norte bar. Only ventured back to San Pedro once for groceries - too perfect a location to waste time with in town nonsense. Book it - you won’t regret it!"

"We enjoyed our time at the property and I personally would live there at the property. :-) The only things that drove me crazy was the grime and rust around the sink and all the mosquitos in the area. Couldn't enjoy the pool because the bugs kept on biting. You are literally attacked by them as soon as you walk out the door. Couldn't swim at the beach because of the seaweed, but there were people attempting to clean it up but you cant control the sea. Also, the location of the property is located in Mexico Rock and about 45 minutes - 1 hour on a golf cart from the water taxi in san Pedro and depending on the weather conditions. Please take that into account when going. Secret beach is about 20-30 minutes by golf cart. Please purchase food in town before coming in as there are no markets and very limited food options in the area. Overall, I would recommend if you want something quiet, secluded, and away from the hustle of the city. "

"My husband and I loved our stay! The cabin gave us a private location that was just lovely! Walking from our front door directly onto the beach with views of the coral reef was gorgeous and the property's caretakers were so friendly. We truly enjoyed our time there and only wish we could have stayed longer!"

"We went for spring break and daughters 16th birthday trip. April 2024. We had never been to Belize but wanted a house and not in town. Well this is definitely not in town. 12 miles north along the coast, and secluded.(3 houses close by). House a little rustic but has AC and WiFi. Pool was nice to have though found couldn't really swim in ocean off deck. Was better to go up coast a bit. Having never been to Belize,we took 15 min flight to San Pedro and were greeted by Karen with our golf cart and she helped us escort bags to house. Yes a golf cart, the preferred method of travel in San Pedro. Sergio was waiting to greet us at the house to answer any questions. Being farther out it was nice to have the escort since started to get dark. But I will tell you these people were so amazing and nice. We were so grateful after long day of traveling from Seattle. Karen even helped us at grocery store before going to house. The communication was all thru Whatsapp and they always responded quickly. Good restaurant just couple miles south (El Norte) and owner so nice and great food. Couple of close grocery places as well. We didn't find going back to San Pedro that big of deal for excursions it was kind of nice driving down coast and out of the crazy golf cart, motorcycle, and foot traffic haha. Loved our entire stay although wish it was longer. We also used Karen for the excursions (Dee Kay's under the sea adventure tours) and we did snorkeling, Mayan ruins, and cave tour."

"Tranquility Bay Resort is the perfect place to get away and enjoy Belize. Our house was literally right in the beach. Snorkeling and swimming are musts. The food is excellent especially the breakfast. The staff was gracious and professional. The owners were amazing. Thank you Tranquilty Bay!"
