"This property was absolutely gorgeous! The pool was perfect temperature for swimming in late September and there is a great little local restaurant nearby (Kalami Parking) that we went to several times. There are not a lot of "extras" here so we did have to make a supermarket run for extra trash bags, sugar for coffee, toilet paper, etc. Also to note the turn off for the poperty js not well marked and looks kind of scary like youre driving off a cliff (dont worry youre not!) So I'd suggest google mapping before you arrive to get an idea of what it looks like. "

"We had a really relaxing time at the Kalyves beach hotel. What wasn’t clear to us at booking was the “all inclusive” and “all inclusive welcome gift” option. We went for the latter which gave us the “all inclusive plus” package at the hotel and was well worth the small extra cost, giving us unlimited cocktails, room upgrade and discount on the spa. Excellent value for money and still easily got enough for us (27c) at the end of September. The buffet food selection was great for us too as we could pick and choose what we wanted. We loved the stay and the entertainment in the night arranged by Momo was excellent too. Everyone was so friendly and keen to help we felt so looked after and pampered! Fully recommended!"

"Firstly, no one mentioned the road thats in front of the villa, noisy all day. None of the interior doors closed properly, we had to put cushions to stop them banging when the wind blew through. Everything else was fine, except, we couldn't use the BBQ, which was such a shame, but we understand entirely."

"The property was ideal for us, it had a lovely pool and was well located near some excellent tavernas in the nearby village. There was also a small bar /hotel a short walk from us where we could go and have a drink. The owner was helpful and the community were very friendly, we would definitely go back"

"Lovely place, great setting, pool is fantastic and has been improved since the photos were taken. Would recommend a car. Only small issue was with the kitchen and bbq, needs some more basic equipment, tongs decent knives etc. Don’t let that put you off though, was brilliant. "

"Two villas attached, ideal for a large family. Six bedrooms all with ensuite was a bonus although the showers were small. Pool was lovely and kept very clean. Overall standard of each villa was excellent with lots of kitchen utensils/glsses etc. Slight downside was that the road to the local village where there are excellent tavernas, was busy with no pavement, 15 minute walk. On the whole we very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it, car is essential to get to local beaches."

"Just back from a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Our first visit to Crete and it did not disappoint. The villa is a 30 min drive from Chania airport. Directions to the property were easy as were the instructions to let ourselves in. The villa itself is amazing and the photos do not do it justice. The house is spacious with large bedrooms which are all en suite. Each room has its own balcony which boasts incredible views and the seating on these make the perfect spot for cocktails at sundown. The communal space inside is also spacious and the adequate kitchen leads to the beautiful outdoor space. The pool is stunning, with plenty of loungers surrounding it. There are also covered eating and seating areas which shade from the sun when you need it. We also used the outdoor kitchen and enjoyed BBQs by the poolside taking in the views. The grounds are also beautifully kept with the gorgeous scent of jasmine making it even more divine. It is a short drive to the local town which has plenty of restaurants, shops, a small supermarket and a lovely beach. Parking here was also easy. The rest of the area is beautiful and the house is situated with easy access to other parts of the island which are worth exploring. Wendy was extremely helpful. We had a small issue with the water when we were there but she dealt with it immediately and with very little disruption to our holiday. Our only negative point was the number of beds.
