Secluded Cozy Luxurious Cabin, Gourmet Kitchen On 100 Acres W/ Miles Of Trails

Hello I'm Joe. if you're looking for a place to relax, hike, ski or just enjoy nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is nestled between two mountains up a 1/4 mile driveway very private.

With a rustic look on the exterior while the interior is very luxurious top of the line appliances, washer and dryer, spacious kitchen open to the living area for entertaining. A second-floor Deck with an outdoor jacuzzi The cabin has two bedrooms The lower level has two beds and the second floor bedroom has one bed and one pull out bed in the sectional sofa. The downstairs also has two lounging chairs in front of a wood stove and a covered front porch with couch and chairs.

We are close to Babcock state park, the New River for kayaking and fishing and only 45 minutes from Winterplace for excellent skiing. We are situated on 100 acres and next to the New River National Forest with miles of trails for hiking or riding ATV's or horses. This is also a great central location to enjoy many of the festivals in the area.

This is a rural area so you should bring your groceries. although there is dollar store that has some groceries a few miles up the road in Danese. Regular grocery stores Kroger, Food Lion, Walmart, are in Beckley. approximately 20 miles away.

Thank you!--Such a beautiful place! We were sold already when the gentle horses came up to us to let us pet them when we arrived but the whole experience was lovely for my husband, 4-year-old, 9-month-old and dog and I. Very comfortable cabin with everything we needed and the hot tub overlooking the forest is stunning after going for a hike. Many options for groceries/restaurants/hiking/climbing about 30-45 min away which worked well for us and we appreciated the quiet location. Honestly it was an amazing experience just to spend time at and explore the property. All our human and canine sons did not want to leave!

Stunning and peaceful
Wonderful location to find some quiet and solitude. Beautiful property with wonderful trails. Even on the rainy day we had sitting on the patio with a hot cup of tea and a warm blanket listening to the rain hit the tin roof and splash on the pond was serene. We were provided plenty of clean towels, sheets and blankets. The upstairs is beautiful and everything I hoped for in a cabin in the woods. We will definitely be coming back, hopefully in the fall when the colors of the mountains come alive. Thank you Joe for sharing this treasure.

We wanted a place private and this was exactly it. Buggest reason came was for fishing, sadly didnt catch anything but it didnt away from the enjoyment of the property. Hot tub under the stars...thanks for letting us enjoy your little slice of heaven.

WV weekend get away
It was the wonderful spot for us to get away in the mountains. It was just what we needed. A private rustic cabin. The kitchen was great for cooking our meals. The property was beautiful and being able to bring our collies with us made it perfect. We all had a great time exploring the woods around the cabin and New River Gorge. We would highly recommend and we cant wait to return.

Can’t say enough good things about our stay!!
We have driven past this cabin is years past, I was excited driving down the super long driveway! We couldn’t have been happier with Joe, any questions he was quick to respond, cabin was amazing and the views were spectacular!! Especially the stars from the hot tub in the evenings, we’ll be back hopefully with snow and maybe the horses will be home too!! Can’t wait to book it again! Oh and we loved the book on the history around town, super cool!! Thanks Joe

Perfect peaceful getaway
This was the perfect getaway. Privacy, peacefulness and all the amenities you could need. Wish we could have stayed longer than a weekend, but we will definitely return. Close enough to attractions, but with the extra benefit of complete privacy. Upstairs cabin interior is gorgeous, property was so peaceful and relaxing. Add in the hot tub and you can't go wrong. We can't wait to return!
