"This stay gave us everything we were looking for. I surprised my girlfriend with a bday trip. The drive to town felt short and the national park was where we spent most of our time. We plan on returning! "

Our only regret was not having more time just at the house to enjoy everything it had to offer. "Cabin was located perfectly about 20- 30 minutes from Winterplace. The Cabin was clean and cozy. We had an issue with the fireplace but they came right over to fix it. Very friendly. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the cabin and even better time exploring WV! If you’re visiting the area for the national park, it’s definitely worth seeing in the winter and you will enjoy even more peaceful trails due to less crowds. Nice simple cabin with tons of outdoor options to relax and enjoy nature. We really enjoyed using the wood stove as a cozy escape from the ice and snow! We will definitely be returning once the weather warms up!"

"The property was exactly as described, but even cuter! It was a peaceful location on a property with multiple cabins, convenient to New River Gorge NP. We would have liked to have stayed longer to be able to enjoy the hot tub!"

"My wife, daughter, and I stayed here while enroute to the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. The Glo Haus is a unique set up allowing for simple, low key lodging in a very beautiful and scenic area. My daughter spent more time either in or running along the babbling brook situated behind the structures. "This home was absolutely beautiful, nestled away in the Pipestem State Park. It snowed the entire weekend and the host was gracious to give us great directions and assistance if anyone got stuck. Would recommend for a group ski trip to Winterplace!"
