"We loved our stay here. The location was convenient; the room was clean and comfortable; breakfast was tasty; and most of all, the hosts were amazingly hospitable. Due to our original flight being canceled, we checked in later in the day than we anticipated, and the host was gracious and understanding. We also forgot to bring a power converter (we traveled from the U.S.), and the hosts let us borrow theirs until we were able to buy one locally. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"We enjoyed our three day break at Nethybridge very much in this fine old hotel. Even though it’s looking a bit tired in places, it makes up for any shortcomings with bags of character and first class, friendly and professional staff. The room and bathroom were really spacious and comfortable and the buffet breakfast caters for all tastes and is delicious. We ate in the restaurant for dinner each night and thoroughly recommend as the food is excellent and reasonably priced. Overall, a memorable...

"Overall a very comfortable experience. This is the second time we stayed in Macdonald's hotel, opted for half board and loved our meals everynight. Breakfast was great, would be nice to have meatfree options for vegetarians, even if not in buffet but can offer to prepare it if requested, still loved scones and beans and pancakes, kind and caring staff."

"Travelled up as a party of 6 to visit family and this made a fantastic base to do that. Accommodation was great and everything you could ask for. Hosts were available whenever needed and checked in during our stay. Would deffo use again if needed . 5 stars on every category without hesitation "
