"The hotel was very good and bed comfortable and i am hard to please with beds. The only downside was the view from.my window of rubbish bins but no smell or anything. I would stay again"

"Great hotel in the centre of Birmingham. Very convenient for restaurants and bars. We were staying for work so only got to enjoy it for the night but the rooms were clean and comfortable and had all the amenities you would need for 1 or 2 nights"

"The hotel is looking dated in places - bathrooms and pool/spa. Reception staff were pleasant, not so much in the restaurant. Food was OK and fairly priced off the menu. Room was nice and bed was comfortable so that’s the main important thing."

"Because we were staying for Crufts the hotel was extremely busy and it did take a long time to check in. The room was good, the bed was comfy, we couldn't get the sofa bed to open up so my friend slept on the sofa as it was. The bathroom was very small and there was a crack in the sink which considering we paid nearly £500 for two nights I did think it wasn't very good. There was also cigarette ends outside the window, there is no smoking in the hotel so why were they there and why hadn't they...

"We totally enjoyed the time we stayed in the PHhostel with the three staff we saw, very friendly, funny and very helpful when we needed anything. We only had one issue we didn’t like and that was the bathroom situation as each time we went to it, we found it to be dirty, no toilet roll or very messy. "

"I have wanted to stay here for years and the experience lived up to my high expectations. I paid extra for a city view room and it was worth it! - the view was amazing! The service I received from everyone was great too, the team really went out of their way. I was able to check in slightly early, got a complimentary drink and a nice personal touch to my room. I will be back!"

"I stayed at the hotel a day before I was to continue there for a conference. Whitney is amazing!!! Just awesome! Nothing was too much trouble. However, I asked the gent in the mornings at the desk to please refill my shower gel and he didn't - I had to ask Whitney and it was done almost immediately. Breakfast was ok - wasn't awesome. Not a lot of choice in drinks and no hot chocolate for those who do not drink coffee. It was a very nice stay, just wish that the shower gel and shampoo was checked...

"Spacious, with plenty of storage and spotlessly clean . Lots of sockets , hairdryer and even a torch . The bed was comfortable with a nice soft duvet. Room could be heated to your own personal preferences . Access to a lovely pool. Perfect place to stay if you are attending a function at the ICC as it has a private access bridge to the centre accessible via your keycard. "A beautiful heritage estate of large proportions and character. The history was fascinating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were superb. A beautiful country setting with beautiful views of the river and farmland. Well equipped rooms, with all appliances you could ever need. Rooms were cosy and warm. We loved using the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Highly recommend and I would love to stay here again, given the opportunity."

"This is truly in different league to other hotels, loved it. Whilst the food in the restaurant is amazing, the only criticism I have, is there needs to be more obvious options for families, 3 main course and drinks for over £100 pound for adults is fine for the quality of the food, but way to expensive for a family. Still for a romantic getaway its truly amazing., and I would definitely go back. St"
