"I and two golfing friends used the hotel as a overnight for our annual trip. The hotel was very well appointed, staff excellent, food in the restaurant very good, and our rooms were completely adequate for what we wanted. We didn't use the Spa! Very pleased."

"Staff very friendly, courteous, pleasant and professional. Comfortable room and bed, shower very good. Excellent dining options, well prepared, well served, reasonably priced and very tasty. Quiet surroundings, easy access. Door to bathroom impossible to close: out of alignment. Toilet seat needs securing properly. No chain on bath plug making it awkward to remove plug and empty water out after use. These can easily be remedied. Overall impression: - Very impressed. Will definitely stay again. "We had a lovely stay, no hot buffet breakfast as there weren’t enough people staying that morning but they offered us a limited menu to order off. Staff all very kind and helpful "

"Friendly staff and very helpful, food was adequate. Bed was very uncomfortable, woke up with lots of aches and pains, also extractor fan was not working in bathroom, this was pointed out to staff. Also we found that the lighting was very poor, particularly when trying to apply makeup, a small lighted mirror in the bathroom would help."

"We've stayed here before and it's quite convenient for Stafford show ground. It's a budget pub/hotel, but it's great value and the staffs are lovely. Becca is really excellent and has befriended a few off the older locals and helps them along with advice and a chat. It's not posh, but then it's very cheap. We'll be going back 👍"
