"Beautiful location. Unique boutique hotel next to the lake. The room (Cocoon Junior Suite) had spacious balcony with outdoor tub and peaceful view across the lake to distant mountains. Some problems with the prototype design of certain features such a bathroom taps but there was a form to fill in if anything needed fixing. It did! And they were promptly fixed. "This is a really nice hotel situated a 5 minute downhill walk from the train station and about ten minute slow walk from the centre of town. Staff were friendly, bedroom and all public areas were immaculately presented and its well situated for a twenty minute walk to the Feldschollsen brewery where you can go on a brewery tour. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends travelling through Basel as it is an easy 18minute train drive."
