"Excellent hotel. Check in was unexpectedly helpful and friendly. Room was large and comfortable and clean. Breakfast is expensive but there are no options close to the hotel. Hotel is next to the #50 bus stop which goes directly to the airport and to the train station in Basel. Have fun!"

"The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had anywhere—cold cuts, 3 kinds of bread, smoked salmon, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, yogurt, chees, scrambled eggs and bacon, plus cereals, pancakes and coffees and fruit juice. Trafo is easy walking distance from the railway station. My only complaint was a lack of USB ports in the room. I had to borrow an adapter from the front desk, and it took forever the recharge the battery. Not fancy, but excellent service. I would stay again."

"Check-in automate was broken, nobody on site. Had to work with staff by phone to even get room keys including rebooting the check-in automate. In the aftermath I ended up getting charged twice for the stay because of this and hotel refused to reimburse, claiming that it is just a hold while it is clearly a double booking. Worst experience. I would strongly recommend to avoid this place. Hotel provides ear plugs as it is so loud from traffic that sleeping without is impossible."
