"Lovely Friendly staff. Accommodating with room change. Good very good and nice size portions. Gluten free fish and chips was amazing. Only minor downs, No gluten free biscuit in room as promised. No exchange of gluten free bread with starter (wasn’t hungry enough to ask, I’m sure they would have brought if asked) Bathroom, walls looked very wet and paint peeling off. "

"Terrific! We stayed in Room 1 where everything had been so carefully created. The coffee percolator supplied with fresh coffee and milk, the cookies and water were great ideas. The bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower was spacious and had soft white towels. We ate a delicious meal in the evening and slept well afterwards on the large, comfy bed. The staff were welcoming, kind and informative. Thank you for a super stay."

"It is a beautiful hotel with a great history. All the staff were great. Lovely breakfasts. We were there 4 nights and had one dinner there which was great. We wanted to explore Cheltenham the other nights. Only hiccup was on our third day as elderly we decided to make use of the hotel first class facilities (out door heated swimming pool etc) and the most beautiful and comfy lounge. And although our room was empty at 10am , housekeeping did not service it until 3pm in spite of requests. "

"From checking in at the bar you know that the quality of the room is going to be of a good standard as the pub itself is very nice modern but still classic feel of a country pub. Ate in the pub 1st night of the stay and food was a very standard and reasonably priced for the quality. Only slight negative we had was that although it’s in a quiet village a lot of traffic seems to come through it and can be heard in the accommodation. "This property is outstanding in its location, in its cleanliness and comfortable room. Run by Joan, who is extremely helpful with any queries you might have, going out of her way to assist, she is a real professional, and likewise the waitress we had was exceptional. The accommodation was possibly the best we've ever had for peace and quiet, and again the breakfast was superb, one of our best ever we've had. We are looking forward to returning whenever we get the chance as it's so good. "

"Beautiful Manor Hotel in the most picturesque village set in the hills of the Cotswolds. The staff did everything to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Walking trails were close to hotel and beautiful. Golf course was excellent and golf club was great food and service. We will definitely be back."

"One of the showers was a little too hot for some of our tastes. The double bed was very hard and difficult to sleep, but it was also very warm whilst we were there. The owners were really communicative before our stay and when we got there. They left us some bread, milk and essentials which was really appreciated. "Lovely house, room was a good size, comfortable bed, decent linen. Good onsuite shower. Breakfast preordered and delivered to room as still have Covid restriction in place. Parking available but a bit tight getting in and out if other cars there. Hosts friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Definitely better than Doubletree Hotel down the road and half the price. "
