"Booked an oceanfront suite. Staff was very welcoming at check in. Suite was beautiful with wonderful views of the beach and water! Cons - outdated furniture. -the pillows smelt old too - always hosting different meetings. Wasnt really a problem for us because we were out all the time, but most of the restaurants would be blocked off for conferences alot while we were there -alot of lizards and other bugs and critters around -the resort photographers were terrible. "As we visited in the low season the upkeep of the resort was below standard, towards the end of our trip you could see the attention was turning to the upkeep, however, it was a shame they don’t maintain the standards all year round. But they had some kind of wierd smell in the room as maybe they are closed for long time We had food buffet at restaurant was so spicy we could not eat beyond starter salad Also we saw other tourists who had wheelchair they were struggling to get to 2nd floor with four people lifting the chair and was not wheelchair accessible so when booking have to check this. They were so slow and did not really inform you of anything, you had to find out yourself. "We had booked a deluxe room, which was terrible. It was old, mouldy, the grain was not working and overall a 3 star at best. The staff was gracious enough to move us to a pool villa.
