"This is the BEST place to go if you want a rest and recharge. The beach is pristine andthe staff is amazing. Yes, it's an older building but they keep it so clean and update the best that they can. If you are expecting 5 star it's not for you. If you want the best location and staff and a very clean hotel, then give this place a try. "

"This is my second time going to this resort, the food was excellent and staff were so kind and helpful. The resort was always clean and tidy. We stayed in building #1 by the beach, being so close to the beach was wonderful. Lots to do with our little ones (5 & 3), go to the beach, swim, go to the play ground etc. Everyone was so kind to our little ones. The only two things I would say is I wish there was a shuttle to and from the resort. You can only get a shuttle if you fly through West Jet or...

"we have stayed at this property for three years now. I feel like the pros outweigh the cons overall. The pros are it is close to the beach, it is clean. The staff is friendly and considering it’s all inclusive it’s relatively affordable. It is not a five star luxury resort by any means and we don’t always love the dinner options but breakfast and lunch are good. We’ve never had issues getting lounge chairs out front, the beach in front of the hotel is always clean and there is a security guard...

"Our rooms were not ready when we arrived. Room 1 the shower was slow draining & we had no handle on our hot water nozzle. We were told to use our fingers to turn it on & off. One of the pillow cases looked like it had puss stains on it, so gross. Room 2 had had cigarette holes through the sheets & covering. Both bathrooms toilets looked like they had urine in them, but it was the color of the water. DO NOT recommend this location. "

"The hotel was good. It's old Mexico so you can't have 5 star expectations. The staff was friendly enough. Our room faced the street so it wasn't super quiet but it was neat hearing the sounds of Mexico every morning. The doors were fairly thin as well so you could hear everything anyone was saying outside your room at all times. I would have no problems recommending this hotel. "

"Although this bungalow is set up for short stays, we were there for 3 weeks. Beautiful Guayabitos beach is accessible across the street. It is situated between Guayabitos Centro and La Penita with a short walk to each. The bungalow was comfortable, clean and had the basic necessities. The hosts , Enrique and family were super accommodating and a pleasure to meet. We would definitely return. "
