"The nicest staff ever. This place was adorable (not too crazy about the black walls in the room) but other than that the hotel was amazing! Everything we needed, great location, staff was the friendliest we encountered on our month long trip in NZ. "

"Lovely apartment in a great walkable location, close to everything. Great, easy parking in an allocated spot. We were apparently upgraded to the 7th (top) floor, south facing. A little cold and had to use the heater in January! Noisy seagulls but can't do much about that! Constant lift noise as we were next to the lift. Great washer/dryer and shower. Overall a very nice stay. "

"We had a gorgeous stay at this lovely property and will definitely return:) Our hosts were wonderful and made it feel like home with lovely touches including wine in the room and port in the hallway and such a delicious breakfast. So comfortable and loved the historical experience. "

"The property was superb great location the rooms have a lovely old world charm but still very functional. The hosts Angela & Barry were extremely helpful & very gracious sharing the rest of the house with there guests, we would definitely recommend the property as a great place to stay in Christchurch."

"Beautiful property and very friendly owners. The room and common areas were spacious and private. The grounds are well kept, and the house is about to undergo maintenance which should polish it up - not that it needs much. Breakfast was sensational - big serves and really high quality. The owner was very friendly offering site seeing advice when asked, and helping me make a doctors appointment when I got ill (nothing to do with them). Beautiful, I'll go back for sure."
