"Lovely hotel. Very Christmassy. Staff friendly and helpful. Only issue was bed was vv hard. Staff did put in mattress topper but still pretty uncomfortable. "

"Hotel and staff brilliant, pub next door noisy, smoking outside stinking the area in front of the hotel, cigarette butts and beer bottles left, vomit on pavement from the church bar across the road, real shame as the hotel and stay was faultless 👍"

"This property is a gem. Large bedrooms, smart sitting rooms and a breakfast room as well as the lobby downstairs. Would definitely stay again and for more than 1 night. "

"The staff were very polite and accommodating the room was boutique and had everything you needed although the second stay they neglected to refil the milk but did so as soon as notified. The breakfast was delicious and a good selection. Stairs were very creaky to our room and I wouldn’t have wanted to come back late for fear of waking other guests. Overall a pleasant stay. "
