"A very nice 4* hotel; I’m aware that hotels are designated their stars on the basis of facilities. This hotel is advertised as 5* but in my opinion it is much more inline with what’s expected of 4*. Positives - staff are very friendly, the ocean view from the room was magnificent. Negatives - the coffee at breakfast is truly disgusting, the beds are very hard, the hotel has a very 80’s vibe and decor - think dark wood laminate, foamy ceiling tiles, one buffet restaurant (no ala carte), dismal...

"I have just returned from a 5 night winter break here. I have travelled extensively but this hotel is up there with some of the best i have stayed in, certainly in Europe. The staff were all extremely polite friendly and professional. The pools and grounds were beautiful, but the town outside tge horel was very limited. "Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Superb location for anyone that loves golf, biking, hiking or indeed lazing by the pool. Felt like we had the place to ourselves even though the restaurant was relatively busy each evening. The staff are instinctively helpful at every turn and just a five day break felt like a fortnight. Well-being in a week right here! Chapeau to the HDC team and I’m sure I’ll be back with my golf clubs at some point to play Seve’s 18 👌"
