"The hotel was wonderful. Because I booked through hotels.com/expedia, I was unexpectedly treated by the hotel. My room was upgraded, I was given a credit for 25 euros toward food, and I was offered late check out. It was a kind and appreciated gesture. I did get a hot stone massage at the spa, which was lovely. I spent some time in the sauna, although I was suprised it was co-ed. I also enjoyed an Afternoon Tea Service, which was delicisious. "The hotel was old and badly needs updating in terms of interiors. The elevators were beat-up looking. The bathrooms and rooms were spacious and clean but the furnishings were old. It seems only a piece or two of furniture here and there were reupholstered recently. "Very comfortable hotel with a touch of class. Piano in the lobby bar was nice, but a bit loud, if you wanted to sit, sip and talk. Great breakfast! Close to shopping and evening dining. We would return again. This is the only place to stay!"

"Very lovely hotel. We enjoyed the relaxing pool / spa area. The tunnels underneath the residences were great to not have to go out into the cold to get to the main building and spa. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend."
