My go to hotel in Frankfurt, I get not everyone's cup of tea, but it is exactly like you see on the pictures. Well located for exploring the City, If arriving by train from the airport or main train station get off at Hauptwache stop and exit towards the end of the train you have just got off, the station before on the map may look nearer but it isn't. Reception is on the sixth floor, you need a card to access the other floors. Dedicated check in staff would be nicer rather than having to disturb someone from the bar is my only criticism. The shower is great and lovely smelling soap and shower gel, comfy bed and warm duvet

These are the coolest hotels ever. I’m always happy when there’s one where I’m going. You should know, though there are no closets or adequate drawers. Just a few hooks on the wall so if it’s a long-term stay, you might want to rethink it.

As a solo traveller this was the perfect hotel to stay. The neighborhood is very safe and upscale with so many options for food and entertainment close by. The hotel bar has a great atmosphere for meeting people and the drinks are great! I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff are. The rooms are great. Loved the rain head shower! I would recommend Ruby to anyone going to Frankfurt

The immediately surrounding area is quiet and has high end shopping. Just a few blocks away is a questionable area after dark. The hotel has a fun vibe. Rooms are a tight squeeze for two people with luggage even if not getting the smallest side. Only travel with someone you’re extremely comfortable with because privacy is not much of a thing in these rooms.

I booked to stay in one of the ‘pod rooms’ which was ideal for a solo traveller. The staff were very friendly and the location is very central/felt safe. The shower was perfect and the room came with a hairdryer.

Had a fine stay with Ruby Louise. Good location, spacious room, smooth check-in/check-out. Did the complimentary drink in lieu of housekeeping for 3 days. Excellent grape vodka cocktail made with discarded grapes. The toilet and shower were in the same enclosed area which I don’t love. This was a solo trip prob wouldn’t return if with my gf.

The entrance was in a kind of alley. Had to go to the top floor and check in at the bar. They asked for your passport number as part of check in. The bartender/desk agent didn't provide any information about the hotel which would have been useful. For example, there is no telephone or refrigerator in the room (both very inconvenient), and no way to make coffee. But there are "galleys" on certain floors where you can make coffee. This is pretty inconvenient in general, but we weren't even informed of these things upon check in.

Staff was very good anytime you needed anything very helpful. We got there early due to our flight and instead of having us wait four hours to check in we only had to wait around an hour for them to getthe room ready. Will definitely go back.
