From the friendly and helpful receptionist ( both of them) to the cosy but classy bar area, the exceptionally clean room with everything from macarons to a proper coffee machine with really comfy beds ( and I'm fussy) Very clean and beautifully decorated throughout the hotel. the breakfast was delicious. "Our room & the shared bathrooms were clean. Joan kept in regular contact to make sure we weren’t short of anything & everything was ok for our stay. "

"There were not curtains or black out curtains on the windows. The mirror had emotion detection led lights and as I was trying to switch them off I found a syringe, thankfully without the needle. I'm very disappointed with the overall condition of the room."

"This is a well-placed B&B for the centre of Huddersfield. Everyone is extremely nice and the facilities are good if not bang up-to-date. the breakfast is excellent, parking very convenient and it's a nice touch to be able to bring 'takeaway' food into the hotel's conservatory to eat. "Clearly this hotel is still in recovery from Lockdown. There are no kitchen facilities and limited options available locally. Bar was not staffed and no background music or TV to attract or encourage its use. Garden areas were overgrown and not in use. Has the potential to be a nice stopover but the website does not reflect the current conditions."
