"Went for two nights mid-week with my partner and our dog to celebrate my birthday. Lovely little well kept and decorated property. With nice touches like fresh eggs, milk, homemade cakes and fresh flowers when you arrive. Literally on a working farm with all of the hustle and bustle you would expect, but it still felt private, with great views over the fields. Well stocked kitchen, we cooked both nights we were there. Plenty of walking spots nearby and unrestricted use of the hot tub. "

"The cottage was just as described. Perfect for our 2 night stay . Cosy especially with the log fire. Great base for getting out on fab walks ( we did Win Hill and Mam Tor ). Would certainly book again . "

"We hadn’t appreciated what a gorgeous location this property was in. The view from the front of the cottage over the reservoir is gorgeous, and a first floor reading nook is so cosy and gives the feeling of being by the sea side! The property is really tastefully decorated, making it feel like a home from home. The check in process was really smooth and easy to understand. The weather during our visit was terrible but we would love to come back again with better weather to take advantage of all...

"This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views."

"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you."
