"The hotel offers a shuttle service that picks you up from the train station, which is convenient. However, it doesn’t provide any guidance for visiting Mount Fuji, so we had to navigate on our own using the Hakone Travel Pass. It would have been much easier if there had been a tour guide or tourist bus that took us directly, even if we had to pay for it. "It is a 5-star hotel with 5-star service :). If you miss the scheduled (only a few times during the day) pickup at the train station, just go to the cable car station and call the hotel. They will send a van to pick you up in less than 10 min. For travellers who use data only SIM plan, make sure you have app (we use Skype to make the call) that can make international phone call."

"Unbelievable night here. Views of lake Ashi and Mount Fuji the best you can get. Even from our personal onsen or balcony footpath. The kids loved watching a movie on the big projector while the parents enjoyed the view. Fridge full of free gifts of food, wine and beer plus soft drinks also. Nice touch. We absolutely loved it here. Caught the bus from odawara station which took about 55mins and the bus stop is just outside the accommodation (Hakone Shiso Mae). On way back 2 bus stops either side...
