"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"This was a beautiful stay in a lovely ryokan. Service was amazing, the views were beautiful and the traditional Japanese meals a highlight. I only wish I could go back for a longer stay. "

"We had an incredible time, the on sen was lovely, clean and well-kept (there is a schedule for all the guests to block off an hour to use which is plenty of time). The rooms were cute, decorated in traditional Japan aesthetic, adorable kimonos, slippers, tea, and many amenities. You get a nice meal that is waiting in the refrigerator and there is also a restaurant conveniently downstairs( Burger Box, has vegan options!). "Property was good, but i found grtting around the area inconvinient as everything was far away from each other. However there is a extensive tourist bus system so you could get to everywhere you wanted to go, it would just tske time "

"The staff are very accomodating and very welcoming. They picked us up from and sent us to the train station for free. They offered us ( 5 people) a ride with a ¥2000 fee to lake kawaguchi. They also offered to pick us up from the Fujikawaguchiko masjid back to the guesthouse for the same rate later that night but they did not turn up . Instead, they told us to get our own taxi as they have picked up another customer. Luckily we got a help from the masjid cafe staff who called a taxi for us. We...

"Loved the stay at Kounso. The room was spacious and had extra bedding that could be used to fit your preference. I was not sure about the shared bath, but each room reserves time slots, so you do not bath with strangers. I loved the cypress bath, it was perfect after a long day. I chose not to use the room heater because of the kerosene smell. Instead, the kotatsu table kept me plenty warm for this time of year. "This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."

"Well decorated, but the bathroom wasn’t clean, Onsen was burning hot, washing machine didn’t work, they have a book of rules, and I got locked out at 9:25PM. I rarely write bad reviews, but this place was not good."

"This hotel was fantastic! We stayed here as part of our trip around Japan for our honeymoon. The hotel have a regular shuttle bus which takes you from Kawaguchiko station to the hotel which is fantastic as we arrived during a horrible storm. Once we did, check in was smooth and the storm cleared to give us one lf the most breathtaking views of Mt Fuji we have ever ever seen. We will never forget it. Rooms are spacious and beds are super comfortably and the staff are very very helpful and friendly. We will be back! "

"I had a great time staying here! The rooms were nice, and the free breakfast was a nice extra. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They also had free lockers for guests, which was really handy. I loved the free shuttle service to places nearby. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend staying here!"

"I had the most relaxing and healing stay at Ajisai. It is in a beautiful quiet setting and the hot springs are fantastic. The staff was incredibly helpful and even helped me retrieve a lost item. The dinner was very memorable and totally worth it - traditional Japanese food that was quite delicious. I will visit here again someday!"
