"Sudima Christchurch Airport was great. The hotel has two wings & I was given a free upgrade to a large room in the newer wing. Room very clean. Bed had soft mattress & pillows. Nice TV with a very simple to use tv remote. My room also had an Alexa device which made setting a wake up alarm extremely easy. "Good one for family"

"In general, this is a great hotel, and staff is very friendly. Only issue was on Dec 24 during the check out. We waited there since 6:42am, but the front desk opens at 7am. We waited 17 min until 7:05am, still no one shown up. We need to drive long way to Picton to catch the ferry to Wellington, which closes at 1:15pm for last check in. So, we just dropped the room keys to the box and left per recommendation of the hotel cafe staff. "

"The receptionist looks as if she didn’t want to be there. Not good at explaining things. She speaks like a robot. Not cheerful enough ro be working at the front deck. Parking is not ideal. We paid for onsite but couldn’t park at our own spot. When booking for parking there was no confirmation email send through. We have to ring up and check. The restaurant the guy who work in there was so loud and not professional. Keep talking to the customer he likes and ignore the rest of the guests. ...

"We really enjoyed our stay and staff made excellent recommendations for dinner and places to see. The bar offers fresh juice of local fruits in the lobby for all hours. Nice for Uber access and near the trolley pick up spot and Regent street which offers many food choices. "

"Changed our plans at the last minute and went to Christchurch for one night and we honestly wish we stayed longer. Hotel is in a great location close to restaurants and nightlife. We walked and rented scooters. Room had everything you need. Clean and spacious rooms and a great view. Bed was comfy and staff was extremely friendly and helpful."
